The music school “Il Trillo”, for the second consecutive year, was invited to the “Midwest Band Clinic” in Chicago, which is considered the most important musical convention in the world, where it is possibile to meet people who occupy responsibilties in all sectors of music: from teachers, to concert organizers, or those who make musical instruments and their accessories.

“Il Trillo”, a unique Italian music school, was chosen in base of the teaching quality and the validation of proposed programs to music academies and schools in various countries.

During last year’s convention, “Il Trillo” met with many american schools and universities to present a series of propositions for the formation of young artists, such as the “Florence International Music Festival: musically talented young people from around the world” and master classes taught by internationally famous concert artists and high-level teachers.

The goal of these meetings is to promote talented young people of whatever musical genre (soloists or groups) and to make “Il Trillo” a place in Florence to meet and confront the diverse culture.

The contacts made in Chicago will produce a rich edition to the 2008 Festival that will see the participation of many young american orchestras that will play also with winning soloists of prestigious international competitions.

The 2008 edition of the Festival will present an alterior novelty: the concerts will be held not only in Florence, but also Venice, Rome, Pisa and Siena.
