Young Talented Musicians of the World
The ”Florence International Music Festival”: Young Talented Musicians of the World” began in the summer of 2002 in Florence, Rome and Venice introducing new talent to an international audience and to music lovers alike. The Florence International Music Festival is quickly being considered one the most important cultural events the city of Florence has to offer. Our concerts always take place in the most breath-taking venues rich with historical and architectural importance. The most popular venues are the Salone dè Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio (pictured above),The Consiglio della Regione Toscana and Chiesa Evangelica, not to mention the various Renaissance inspired churches and palaces located in the historic center of the city. The Festival is sponsored by public entities such as the Comune Firenze, Regione Toscana and well as private sponsors. Due to previous success, The Festival has gained national recognition and is covered by Italian newspapers and magazines. The Opening Ceremonies Event is considered by the press, students, and public, as the main event of the Festival. The Cortile del Michelozzo in Palazzo Vecchio makes for a beautiful setting of the gala dinner after the Festival always offered by our private sponsors.
Each year, Il Trillo School of Music along with Florence International Music Services receives numerous applications from national and international artists looking to take part in the Festival. Our staff, listens to each and every "audition" application whether it be a professional recording or simply a video from their networking site. Over the years, our festival has been not only a fantastic opportunity to be heard by european audiences but as a stepping-stone to further one's career.
