PIANO,  STEFANO BOLLANI
The music of the pianist Stefano Bollani lives under the sign of irony, a pronounced Italian flavour, a bubbly tie with the past. Characteristics that are evident in his three records published by the French company Label Bleu: Les fleures bleues, with Scott Colley (bass) and Clarence Penn (drums), which is inspired by  the world of the writer Raymond Queneau; Smat Smat, a solo album and Concertone for jazz trio and symphonic orchestra (coming out soon).
His playing record is vast, extending a full 360° around.

His professional debut came at the age 15. Since then, he was involved in more than 70 records and in concerts in all the most important festivals all around the world, such as Umbria jazz, Saalfelden, Montreal or the North Sea; he’s been performing on very prestigious stages (La Scala di Milano, Town Hall in New York).
