Description
The courses are designed for three different levels:
  • 1) Beginners: from the very first lesson, students are trained on the basics of music reading and writing, and the execution of simple compositions on their instrument.
  • 2) Intermediate: students will refine their technical and musical competence studying the works of important musicians. Compositions will be analyzed from the harmonic, rhythmical and melodic point of view.
  • 3) Advanced: repertoire analysis and interpretative studies of the most important works of music history. Compositions will be analyzed from the harmonic, rhythmical and melodic point of view.
Objectives
The courses are designed to follow the development of various kinds of abilities and the achievement of a high level competence in music: music reading and writing, interaction with other instruments and singers, improvement of technical and expressive skills, harmonic and structural analysis through listening.

Purpose
The above-mentioned plan of action will enable students to acquire, on a rational basis, a perception of the mastery of the composers they will study and of the aesthetics they represent.

Mid term and Final exams
During and at the end of their educational process students will perform a concert within the context of their competences. All students will participate, either as soloists or in instrumental or vocal groups.
