Description
The courses are designed for three different levels:
  • 1) Beginners: breathing techniques, phonation, diction, support and development, simple vocalize. Text: Ancient Arias and Romances.
  • 2) Intermediate: exhaustive studies of breathing techniques, right imposture, phonation, diction, vocalize (simple scales and arpeggios). Texts: Bellini, Chamber Arias; Donizetti; Opera Arias.
  • 3) Advanced: phonation techniques, support and development, Italian and other languages diction, study of vocal and dramatic expression, vocalize (difficult scales and arpeggios), interpretation. Text: Lieder; Mélodies; Italian Arias; Italian, French and German Opera.
Objectives
The courses are designed to follow the development of various kinds of abilities and the achievement of a high level competence in music: music reading and writing, interaction with other instruments and singers, improvement of technical and expressive skills, harmonic and structural analysis by means of ear training.

Purpose
The above-mentioned study plan will help students to acquire a perception of the mastery of the composers they will study and of the aesthetics they represent.

Mid term and Final exams
During and at the end of their educational process, students will perform a concert according to their musical studies and competences.
