Born in Arezzo, Roberto Fabbriciani has opened up new dimensions to flute playing with his sensational virtuoso playing and innovative technical approach. He has played for the most important Festivals (Venice, Florence, Spoleto, Paris, Bruxelles, Berlin, Köln, M ü nchen, Donaueschingen, Edinburgh, London, Bruxelles, Holland Festival, Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Warsaw, Lisbon, Granada, Madrid, Luzern, Salzburg, Wien, Lockenhaus, S. Petersburg, Tokyo) and with prestigious Orchestras, such as the Orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Accademia of Santa Cecilia in Rome, RAI Orchestras, ECYO, London Sinfonietta, LSO, SWF Baden - Baden, RTL Luxembourg, BRTN Brussel, Orchestre Symphonique de la Monnaie, WDR di Colonia, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Bayerischer Rundfunk, M ü nchener Philharmoniker and others.

He is a passionate interpreter of the New Music and collaborates with composers such as Sylvano Bussotti, Eliot Carter, John Cage, Níccolò Castiglioni, Aldo Clementi, Luis De Pablo, Franco Donatoni, Jindrich Feld, Brian Ferneyhough, Jean Françaix, Toshio Hosokawa, Ernest Krenek, Gyórgy Kurtág, Luigi Nono, Goffredo Petrassi, Wolfgang Rihm, Salvatore Sciarrino, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Toru Takemitsu, Isang Yun, who have dedicated to him some works among the most significant of the flute literature.

He has also worked with conductors such as C. Abbado, Composer/Conductor L. Berio, E. Bour, A. Ceccato, R. Chailly, S. Comissiona, P. Eötvös, V. Fedoseyev, G. Gavazzeni, M. Gielen, M. Inoue, B. Klee, D. Kachidse, P. Maag, Composer/Conductor B. Maderna, R. Muti, Z. Peskò, D. Shallon, G. Sinopoli, A. Tamayo, L. Zagrosek. He has recorded for Philips, BMG, Col legno, Europa, Koch, Arts.

He holds Master Classes at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg.

PARTICIPATION
The course is open to flutists of any nationality and age.
In the framework of this course the student will select and execute pieces from the repertory for flute.
A pianist will be available for accompaniment.
